Myocarditis and pericarditis are medical terms defining inflammation of the heart muscle and heart lining. Symptoms of these conditions can vary but often include shortness of breath, a forceful, irregular heartbeat, and chest pain.

The CDC recently announced it was studying reports of heart conditions following COVID-19 injections. The Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) has received thousands of reported side effects including blood clots, heart disease, brain damage, and reproductive issues. As of May 31st there have been 475 cases of myocarditis/pericarditis reported to VAERS. The most alarming part is the heart inflammation seems to be targeting the youth, specially those under 30 years old. In Connecticut 18 teenagers were hospitalized for heart problems that developed shortly after they were injected.

These inflammatory conditions can cause permanent heart damage. Many of the affected required hospitalization and endured reduced heart function. Treatment included the use of heart failure medication and no physical activity for up to 6 months. Otherwise healthy teenagers and young adults are now forced to question their heart health post COVID-19 injection.
